The Aim Of The Course
The aim of ATPL(A) modular course is to train pilots who have not received the theoretical knowledge instruction during an integrated course, to the level of theoretical knowledge required for ATPL(A).
Pre Entry Requirements
A candidate with valid PPL(A) or CPL(A) with IR can enroll into the course.
An applicant shall have finished at least secondary / high school or college.
The applicant that holds only PPL(A) shall, before being admitted to the course, take a pretest in following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- English language
Mathematics and Physics knowledge to be shown on multiple choice entry test corresponds to the level which is considered by Jat Airways FTO (in further text: Academy) ground instructors to be the minimum for understanding lessons during theoretical part of training. Minimum passing grade in Mathematics and Physics multiple choice pretest is 75%.
Regarding English language entry test, student should demonstrate knowledge equivalent to Medium Level ("A"+"B") of English or provide a proof of passing the appropriate exam from an authorized English language school. However, if this level is not demonstrated, a student will be obliged to attend additional 100 classes of English language theory.
A candidate that is already a holder of CPL/IR is not obliged to take the pretest.
Credits For Previous Experience
For a holder of PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1, theoretical knowledge instruction consists of 650 hours (1 hour = 60 min.) of ATPL level theory.
For a holder of CPL(A)/IR issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1, theoretical instruction will consist of 300 hours (1 hour = 60 min.) of ATPL level theory.
Training Syllabi
Training consists of Theoretical knowledge instruction to ATPL(A) level. An applicant shall complete all the instructional stages in one continuous course of training.
Theoretical training for a PPL(A) holder consists of 930 classes (1 class = 45 min.). |
