The Aim Of The Course
The aim of integrated course for Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating CPL(A)/IR(A) is to train candidate to the level of proficiency necessary to operate single-pilot single-engine or single-pilot multi-engine airplane in commercial air transportation and to prepare the candidate for obtaining CPL(A)/IR.
Pre Entry Requirements
A beginner without previous experience In aviation ("ab-initio") or a candidate who owns a valid PPL (Private Pilot Licence) can enrol into the course, and shall be at least 18 years of age.
An applicant shall have finished at least secondary / high school or college and shall provide a written proof of previous education.
An applicant for CPL(A)/IR shall hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with JAR FCL 3.
Before being admitted to the course the applicant will take a pretest in following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- English language
Minimum passing grade in Mathematics and Physics multiple choice pretest is 75%.
Candidate must show knowledge equivalent to Medium Level ("A"+"B") of English or provide a proof of passing the appropriate exam from an authorized English language school.
Training
Training consists of:
- Theoretical knowledge instruction to CPL(A) and IR level
- Training on synthetic training device
- Visual and instrument flying training
Theoretical training consists of 730 classes (1 class = 45 min.) for English-speaking candidates or 830 classes (1 class = 45 min.) for non-English speaking candidates.
Training on state-of-the-art ALSIM ALX FNPT II synthetic device consists of 40 hours.
Flying training consists of 194 hours of flight and simulator training arranged in four phases. |
