The Aim Of The Course
The objectives of MCC training are optimum decision making, communication, division of tasks, use of checklists, mutual supervision, teamwork, and support throughout all phases of flight under normal, abnormal and emergency conditions. The training emphasises the development of non-technical skills applicable to working in a multi-crew environment.
The course is not graded "pass" or "fail", although the students will be assessed & evaluated in both theoretical and practical training. Full attendance to both theoretical and practical training is mandatory. On completion, students who have satisfied the attendance requirements will be given a MCC Course Completion Certificate. Report on student attendance and evaluation is given as Appendix 14 in Part C of Training Manual, and shall be stored in student’s file.
Pre Entry Requirements
Before a student can be accepted on to the course he / she must be the holder of a PPL(A) or higher licence and hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
Credits For Previous Experience
There are no credits for previous experience.
Training Syllabi
Training consists of two segments:
- Theoretical knowledge instruction in MCC/CRM concept
- Practical MCC Training on FNPT II Synthetic Training Device using Cessna Citation II Flight / Cockpit model
Training consists of 40 classes (1 class = 45 min.) of theory and 20 hours of FNPT II ALSIM ALX simulator. |
