JAA welcomes Montenegro as new Candidate Member State and both the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as new Full Member States of the JAA.

The candidate membership of Montenegro and the full membership of both the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina were unanimously approved by the JAA Board during its meeting in Paris on 03 December 2008.

With the addition of Montenegro, the JAA now has 43 members, 37 of which are full members and 6 are candidate members.
